Privacy policy

This policy describes what data The Creator Stacks collects, how we use it, and your rights. We aim for plain language — if something is unclear, email [email protected].

What we collect

We collect two categories of data. First, aggregated analytics — which pages are visited, referrer, rough geographic region, device type. We use privacy-respecting analytics (no cookies tied to identity, no ad network pixels by default). Second, information you voluntarily give us: email address when you subscribe to our newsletter, and any information you include in a support email.

What we do not collect

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with data brokers. We do not run ad network retargeting pixels. We do not fingerprint visitors. We do not embed third-party chat widgets that phone home with your browsing history.

Cookies and tracking

Affiliate links redirect through vendor tracking systems (e.g., Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi). When you click an affiliate link, the destination vendor sets its own cookies in your browser to track the referral. We don't control those cookies. If you opt out of vendor cookies, we can't track our referral and we receive no commission — which is fine.

If you subscribe, we store your email address with our email service provider to send you the newsletter. We include an unsubscribe link in every email. Unsubscribing removes you from our list within 24 hours.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] with the request. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Aggregated analytics are retained for 14 months. Newsletter subscribers are retained until they unsubscribe. Support emails are retained for 2 years then deleted.

Children

This site is intended for adults making software-purchase decisions. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we'll email newsletter subscribers and post a notice on the homepage for 30 days.
