The creator economy is noisy. Every tool claims to be the all-in-one platform, every review site is written by someone who's paid to rank that tool #1. We're trying to do something different.

What we do

We review the software creators actually buy — course platforms like Teachable and Kajabi, community tools like Circle and Mighty Networks, newsletter platforms like Kit and Beehiiv, membership software like MemberPress. We write long, opinionated reviews that tell you when a product is right for you and when it's not.

How we pay the bills

Affiliate commissions from software vendors. When a review helps you find the right tool, we earn a cut from the vendor — you pay the same price. Read our full affiliate disclosure and editorial standards for the details. The short version: we do not accept payment for favorable coverage, and affiliate status has zero influence on rankings.

Who we are

The Creator Stacks is a small editorial team backed by an AI-assisted production workflow. Humans direct the strategy, pick the products to cover, test the software, and edit every word that goes live. AI tools help us draft faster and cover more ground — but no review ships without human review. We'll never hide that, and we'll never publish AI output unchecked.

Why this site exists

Most software review sites are optimized for search engines, not for readers. They rank everything "great," hedge on every recommendation, and bury the disclosure at the bottom of the page. We built this the other way. If a product is overpriced, we'll say it. If a popular tool is a bad fit for a specific persona, we'll flag it. If two products are basically the same and the choice is about taste, we'll say that too.
